Projektbeschreibung
The User Experience Design team is responsible for designing the company award-winning websites, mobile applications and internal workstations. Our 100+ person team of elite user experience professionals works collaboratively with the business and technology teams to design and deliver online experiences that enable our customers' financial success.
We are currently looking for a seasoned Visual Designer to join our fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture and provide visual direction to our digital platforms. In this role you will work with a team of IA's, Usability Experts and Content Editors to help implement the designs in a CMS and coordinate design standards across multiple platforms and practices.
Responsibilities
- Works with the Creative Director and Art Director(s) to ensure that various aspects of design work meet both UX Design and clients' expectations.
- Participate in the development of user personas and scenarios
- Serve as a team member in order to help create wireframes, flowcharts, application maps, and sketches
- Solve for complex issues like interaction models, data visualization and mobile design standards
- Create highly polished visual designs that leverage and extend established brand standards
- Ensure that design efforts are in sync with the client's business goals and expectations
- Work closely with our usability team to test and refine designs and prototypes
- Communicate and "sell" your design solutions to teammates, engineers, product managers, partners, etc.
- Partner with our development team to push the boundaries of what's possible and to create specs in order to ensure technical feasibility and flawless implementation
- Travel, when required, to work with development teams during agile design sprints.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- 6+ years experience as an information architect, interaction designer, experience designer or a similar role
- Degree in a related field, such as Interactive Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design or Human Factors a plus
- Experience with large company, co-branded websites with B-to-B and B-to-C platforms
- Familiarity with large, transaction-oriented websites
- Familiarity with financial services and education
- Online Portfolio a must
Skills and Knowledge
- Creativity, imagination and a sense of humor
- Strong knowledge of interaction design and methodology
- Demonstrated experience using web analytics to inform design decisions
- Executive presentation and negotiation skills at a large organization
- Detail-oriented and highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- In-depth understanding of HTML and CSS with the basics in HTML5
- Understanding of iOS and WebOS platforms
- Expert skills in Fireworks, Photoshop and Illustrator image creation
- Encompass knowledge of animation, motion design and dynamic interaction skills
- Solid foundation in typography, layout, and general design
