Visual Designer

The role of the visual designer is to help bring that vision to life with such clarity that it feels attainable-maybe even inevitable. From videos to prototypes to presentations to products and interfaces, the visual designer is a key part of every proposal and project.
Visually omnivorous, you are equal parts storyteller, videographer, interface designer, and brand designer. We're looking for someone who combines a passion for nuance with a willingness to jump into the unknown. You also have strong understanding of the human centered design process including primary research, experience mapping and iterative design, testing and refinement.
In this role, you'll work with experience designers, creative technologists, researchers, data scientists and engineers on a diverse range of digital, video, and physical projects and presentations.

Experience Guidelines:

Prior experience of working in large organizations/creative agencies and working with different project teams and products is a big plus.

An online portfolio demonstrating your recent visual design deliverables for online experiences.

Ability to take an interaction design concept and translate to pixel perfect and feasible visual design mockups for responsive web or mobile experiences.

4+ years of agency work experience and good communicator in English.

Degree preferred in design-related discipline: Graphic Design; Interaction Design; Communication Multimedia Design; Interactive Media.

You have designed multiple user interfaces and presented these to senior designers, creative team or clients before.

Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript is a plus.

Interest in or experience in designing for AI, VR and AR is a big plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

Create visual narratives by typography, illustrations, photography, color palettes, iconography and user interface elements.

Visual design ability to deliver and present pixel perfect user interface designs for web and native apps (IOS and Android).

Participate in design reviews with UX designers, developers and key stakeholders for sign-off.

Ability to follow brand identities, design systems, produce innovative visual designs, produce UI solutions and web or mobile animations.

Work in a collaborative team, agile processes and directly with developers for implementation of designs.

Able to work independently and collaboratively.

Participate and discuss designs during design reviews, share new knowledge and design trends with the design team and UX Lead to innovate and improve the design deliverables.

Advanced skills in using design software Sketch, Photoshop CC, Illustrator and has experience with fast prototyping using InVision.
