FormanIT are looking to recruit a Virtualisation Architect to join a leading Insurance organisation on a 6 month contract based in London City.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast paced, fast growing organisation that have a huge portfolio of work. You will work on a variety of high profile assignments, hence the role is technically challenging but at the same time very rewarding from a technical view point.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

- Engage with customer to gain a technical understanding of their environments, thus enabling you to resolve issues as quickly as possible, with minimum customer impact
- Managing/maintenance of virtualisation systems to ensure 100% uptime
- Responsible in leading the design, build and implementation of complex virtual solutions
- Technical Design Authority for the virtual solution within projects to ensure the VMWare architectural standards and practices are followed through project and programme involvement.
- Management and day to maintenance of storage systems
- Staying ahead of the market to ensure products are developed and enhanced

EXCELLENT IN-DEPTH KNOWLEDGE OF:

- VMWare, from an architectural view point as well as other Virtual solutions
- Design/implementation and build of virtual environments - VMware
- VCP4/5 certifications would be advantageous
