Virtualisation & Storage Specialist- Birmingham - £45k

My client is a global manufacturing organisation with multiple offices in the UK and across Europe, looking for an infrastructure engineer to join their team in their Birmingham offices. You will work on a 3rd/4th line basis, administering their network infrastructure locally and Europe wide.

Your strengths will lie in the virtualisation and storage arena, with a particular focus on VMWare and SAN storage. You will be a technical lead on projects involving these technologies so a strong understanding is a prerequisite.

You will have the following technical capabilities:
* VMWare / HyperV
* SAN Storage- NetApp, HP, EMC, Dell, IBM
* Windows Administration- Server 2008R2, Active Directory, Exchange, DNS, DHCP

Any exposure to Citrix (XenApp / XenDesktop) environments and Cisco networking technologies will be advantageous but not a prerequisite for the role.

A salary in the region of £45k is on offer to the ideal candidate, with an excellent benefits package including flexible working hours, pension scheme and an annual bonus.
