Virtualisation & Storage Engineer - Luxembourg
English speaking only - 3 months with possible extensions
GENERAL ROLE DESCRIPTION:
- Debugging and analysing of reported problems and escalated incidents.
- Direct intervention on ICT infrastructure (Virtual server, storage, network).
- Preparation and test of new reference configurations for any supported hardware.
- Basic Network administration tasks.
- Validation and tests of new procedures before release.
- Assistance with roll-out of new ICT infrastructure projects.
- On-site installation/migration/repair missions in delegations
- Operate in accordance with the defined ITIL processes and procedures (incident, change, problem, etc).
Working in shifts.
MINIMUM REQUIRED
- Experience with Service management tools - 2 year.
- ITIL foundations certification.
- VMware vSphere (5.x) - 2 year
- NetApp (Data ONTAP8) - 2 years
- Microsoft Hyper-V 2012 R2 - 1 year
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO VIRTUALIZATION AND STORAGE MANAGEMENT:
The profile's technical background should cover:
- Heterogeneous storages management
- NetApp Metro Cluster operations
- Virtualization support and capacity management
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Good Scripting abilities (PowerShell preferable)
- Symantec Backup Exec 2012, 2014
- IBM Storwize & HP MSA management
