THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
- Set-Top Box Testing
- Motorola or Cisco
- Automation Tools
- Defect Tracking
- Digital Video QA (Quality Assurance)
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Digital video set-top box QA testing.
- Develop test plans/test cases.
- Understand requirements.
- Documenting bugs and test results.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Experience with Motorola and Cisco set-top boxes is preferred.
- Experience should include applications such as Program Guides, DVR, Pay-Per-View, Video on Demand, Parental Controls, Caller ID, STB diagnostics and Video Quality testing.
- Familiar with reporting and tracking defects using Jira or a similar tool.
- Familiar with automation tools.
