Video Headend Architecture - Integration Manager

OUR GLOBAL TV/TELECOMS CLIENT IS HIRING FOR A EXPERT TECHNICAL INTEGRATION MANAGER.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Designs and implement of Video Head-end Architectures*
- Performs vendor selection, due diligence and research
- Perform configurations and implementation of VIDEO HE environments
- Perform integration of Media Playout and Media Streaming within the VIDEO HE to support VoD and Network PVR functionalities.

EDUCATION:

- MSc degree level in a relevant area (network, communications - or consumer electronics engineering)

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

- Expert/full understanding and working in an operational Video Headend networking and Media Streaming environment this includes:
- Setup
- Design
- Fault finding
- Testing
- Expert knowledge of Video HeadEnds (Cable, Satellite, Terrestrial) and Streaming Media technologies (DVB technologies, DVB-Sx, DVB-Cx, DVB-Tx)
- Expert knowledge of Audio and Video coding/decoding technologies
- Knowledge of modulation technologies (QPSK, QAM, COFDM)
- Experience and understanding of IP and broadcast networking as well as data centre infrastructure
