Video Engineer

Our client is looking for a Video Engineer/Architect for a project in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Your input is highly valuable during design, development and integration phases. Both theoretical as working knowledge will be of high importance for the success of this project.

A few of your daily activities will entail

- Defining the architecture for new services
- Reviewing the product/marketing requirement to ensure detailed and unambiguous to move from architectural to design phase.
- Confirm proper alignment between the product requirements
- Participate during design, development and integration phases to ensure that delivered system adheres to the architecture and design.
- Review the product/marketing requirements to ensure that they are detailed and unambiguous to move from architectural to design phase.
- Manage architecture and design deliverables in JIRA
- Design documentation for new services and systems. Write weekly progress reports on design/development status per system release

A job for someone with the following skills

- At least 2 years of work experience with UML
- Excellent English skills, both written as oral
- Good communication skills and excellent problem solving skills and attention for detail
- Must be proactive, with a desire to continuously improve system solutions, documentation and processHML, Web 2.0 and Web Services Technologies; IP Networking; Unix/Linux
- Graduate degree in IT or Telecommunications (Relevant equivalent experience also considered).
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills, to maintain and develop effective working relationships with other peers

Benefits and conditions

- Starting date for Video Engineer is March 1st, 2016
- Initially till end of August, with high possibility of an extension
- Daily rate on a fulltime basis can be discussed
