Vice President, Quantitative Investment Strategist-Boston,MA

A global asset management firm in Boston is looking to add a skilled quantitative analyst to its investment strategy team.

As an investment strategist, you will be responsible for supporting the management of a number of funds. In this capacity, you will be involved in the research and development of portfolio management strategies that cover a range of products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative markets. While you will focus primarily on quantitative analysis of the products, you will also be expected to provide a fundamental perspective, so candidates must have experience using both approaches in portfolio construction.

This position is at the VP level and a leadership function is another key part of the role. You will serve as a liaison between your investment strategy group and a number of other internal and external teams. From collaborating with portfolio managers to help establish product positioning, to contributing to the writing of the firm's white papers, to working closely with fund operations to ensure proper product development and maintenance, you will truly be an integral part of the entire investment strategy process.

To be considered for the position, candidates must have:

* A PhD or Masters in a quantitative field
* Over 10 years of experience in the financial sector, part of which should be in a leadership capacity
* Strong understanding of Bloomberg and FactSet
* Solid knowledge of MATLAB, R, Python, or other similar packages
* Excellent communication skills
