Veritas Netbackup Systems Expert

1. At least 3 years' experience on an expert level in managing Veritas NetBackup system in a big international company (more than 1000 employees) covering:

at least 1000 Servers mainly based on VMware environment (especially RHEL, Windows as in-guest hosts)

integrated backups for Oracle and SQL databases

Veritas appliances or/and EMC DataDomain

more than one NetBackup domain

BCP including DRP procedures

2. Ability to work on own initiative and also as a team player

3. Willingness to obtain new knowledge and experience

4. Very good interpersonal skills with ability to hand over knowledge, experience and making presentations in clear and understandable way

5. Fluent English both written and spoken

Desired person will be responsible for:

Designing, planning and managing all component related with NetBackup environment (master Servers, media Servers, PTL, dedupe backup storage, OPS Center server)

Ensuring continuity of backup/restore processes on a daily basis

Cooperating with team members located abroad

Problem solving

Providing support for team members, project leaders, system architects and end-users if necessary
