The purpose of this role is to implement the solutions at contact centres either remotely or on-site, co-ordinating all phases of projects with the project manager. This includes site discovery and preparation, implementation and configuration, site and user acceptance testing. The role also includes advanced project related troubleshooting and escalation of service requests via a CRM ticketing system.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implementation/upgrade/expansion of Contact Centre Solutions, including;
- Pre-sales & Solution design review and feedback
- Technical Site Discovery and validation of pre-requisites, providing technical information for customer/partner techs prior to implementation phase.
- Implementation of software components and third party components as defined by the project and customer needs.
- Integration to telephony data sources and other third-party systems including Active Directory.
- Site and user acceptance testing.
- Primarily remote but onsite if required.
- Primarily in office hours but out of hours if required.
- Providing support to partners/customer support via phone, remote broadband connection or on site.
- Providing support out of hours as required
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Superior knowledge of computer telephony integration (CTI) systems.
- 5 years + VR core product knowledge
- Excellent implementation & support knowledge of Verint V11, V10 or NICE 4.1 and 3.x
- Knowledge of telecommunication (ACD) systems.
- Windows XP/7, Windows Server 2003/2008
- Windows Domains: Active Directory, DNS, Security and Group Policy
- Networking including TCP/UDP, FTP, SMTP, SIP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL
- Hardware (Servers, hubs/Switches, Routers, load balancers, Firewalls).
- Knowledge of other RDBMS including Sybase & Oracle and ODBC DSN
- Application Servers: Weblogic, IIS and Tomcat
- Enterprise reporting tools: Cognos, Business Objects & Crystal Enterprise
