Vendor risk and compliance procurement manager Banking £70k London

I am seeking an experienced Vendor risk and compliance procurement manager to create and run a consistent and effective vendor risk management procedure for this huge investment bank based in Canary Wharf.

This is a permanent role based in Canary Wharf with a salary of £60-70k dependant on experience

This role will give you real responsibility and visibility to senior managers and you will cover a broad area across Vendor risk and compliance & procurement including:- * Vendor risk

* 3rd party risks

* Supply of goods and services

* Procurement

* Accounts payable

* Travel policy

* Minimising financial loss

You will also be delivering a structured programme for the management of all vendor risks and promote the training and awareness to the wider business

You will work with senior business managers and business partners actress the bank including legal, compliance, ad audit to improve their understanding of Vendor risk and compliance procurement policies, so this role needs someone with excellent communication skills- and a soft and hard approach dependant on the situation

Requirements

* Excellent understanding of managing vendor risk & compliance and general procurement process

* Ariba contract workspace

* Bid review/ vendor selection/ supply systems/ payments

* BuySmart, aAuctions & eRFx/ cognos will very beneficial
