My client, a leading global telecommunications company, is looking to recruit a Vendor Manager to join their project team based in Dublin.
As the Vendor Manager/Supplier Manager you will be responsible for managing the relationship with key civil works, construction/build and acquisition suppliers, whilst monitoring their performance and playing a key part in vendor selection.
As the Vendor Manager/Supplier Manager your key responsibilities will include:
* Defining and monitoring performance criteria for all civil works/construction/build and acquisition vendors/suppliers
* Analysing and reporting on vendor performance internally to project/programme management
* Provide effective governance by conducting monthly reviews of civil works and build and acquisition service providers
* Providing analysis and reporting on under performance of suppliers and defining action plans for improvements
* Participating in vendor selection processes
To be considered for this opportunity, you will require the following skills and experience:
* Strong proven ability working within a Vendor or Supplier Management role in the mobile telecoms industry
* Knowledge of network roll-out/deployment processes
* Exposure of working with relevant Irish suppliers in the mobile telecoms industry
* Knowledge of relevant business environments including budgeting, presales and business development
