Vendor Delivery Manager - Mountain View, California - Dark Fiber, Metro, Long Haul, Leased Wave Circuits, Co-Location Services

KEY SKILLS:

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage vendors for delivery of metro, long haul, leased wave circuits, dark fiber and colocation delivery.
- Strong understanding of interconnectivity requirements within carrier hotels.
- Ensure facilities being delivered are on schedule and meet the required specifications.
- Strong skills in development of Statements of Work (SOW), MOPs and handover packages.
- Prepare process evaluation and improvement reports, review them and present them to management.
- Understanding of Layer 1 through Layer 3 network services and technologies.
- Good understanding of Dark Fiber, DWDM, IP.
- Degree education with a minimum of 4 years related experience, ideally within Telecoms.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Vendor Delivery/Project Manager to work on exciting projects which will involve planning, facilitating and managing deployment and decommissioning of circuit, leased wave, dark fiber and colocation services purchased from third party suppliers worldwide. The successful candidate will work closely with technical negotiation teams to understand terms of existing and new contracts and arrangements including delivery targets and specific technical requirements related to leased wave and or dark fiber. The role will also involve communication target completion dates with other teams to meet expectations and ensure that all internal requirements are being met in a timely manner.
