I currently have a new and exciting opportunity to work Bank of America based in Chester which is set to go on for an initial 6 months

Brief Job description:
I am looking for an experienced Vendor Application Support Analyst who is able to manage vendor supplied and developed software applications in accordance to Bank of America standards. You will be experienced in development and release management, Vendor Engagement, and Control, Risk and Compliance activities for vendor software applications.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities for the Vendor Application Support Analyst:
*Oversight of a portfolio of vendor software applications
*Responsibility for coordinating development activity and release management, from small work requests up to significant projects.
*Management of relationships with vendor and BAC technical contacts
*Development and maintenance of Application Governance deliverables - Control Plans, Technical Recovery Plans and Application Roadmaps.
*Management of relationships with BAC Business users and groups, Risk and Compliance, Supply Chain Management, Global Information Security and Business Vendor Relationship Managers.
*Work as a member of a team to complete quality deliverables/developments on time.
*Ensure through regular reports that Management is informed of progress and issues/risks as they arise.
*Develop and maintain technical skills and knowledge across a broad range of IT platforms and technologies..

All Skills need to be CLEARLY VISIBLE within your CV/Application:
*Higher Education in numerate/business subject.
*Broad knowledge of Information Technology concepts and experience of different IT platforms and infrastructure and a strong desire to continually build technical skills and knowledge.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Excellent organisation, analytical and logical skills.
*Ability to work directly, Real Time with the business.
*Proactive approach, able to work under own initiative, and flexibility to meet deadlines.
*Ability and willingness to contribute to a team effort.
*Ability to manage effective positive relationships with internal and external colleagues and Customers.
