VDA Estimator

VDA ESTIMATOR/PRODUCTION MANAGER REQUIRED IN THE ASHFORD, KENT AREA.

A large Accident Repair Centre requires an experienced Estimator who will be directly responsible supervising the work of any other estimators.

Relationships with: Customers, Director, Bodyshop Manager, Parts Manager, Manufacturers Representatives, Suppliers and other Company Representatives, Specialist Repairers and Sub-Let Suppliers, Insurance Company Assessor.

The successful candidate will be an experienced VDA Estimator with the following skills and experience:

- Technical skills, knowledge and experience of body and paint repair in the retail Accident and Repair industry
- Technical and engineering experience
- To attain ATA accreditation if required by the company
- Knowledge of current estimating systems i.e. Audatex, Glassmatix
- Good negotiation skills

As well as your role as an Estimator you will be required to take over from Manager in his absence and work closely with the Site Manager and a Bodyshop Administrator and must also have excellent customer service skills.
