VCP Specialist

 Purpose and Description:
The VCP Specialist will be a hands-on IT resource with experience configuring Oracle VCP Applications including ASCP, Demantra and IO. The resource will bring configuration best practices and be able to convert conceptual designs into a complete solution. The resource will help troubleshoot data loads, configuration issues and assist with testing. The resource will mentor others in the application and work with other areas such as integration, infrastructure and the program office to complete projects on-time. The resource will support demand planners and inventory planners.

Essential Functions: What are the things that the candidate will be doing on a daily, weekly and monthly basis?
Maps business requirements to VCP applications and develops solutions to meet the requirements
Configures VCP (Demantra, ASCP, IO) based on input from the Solution Architect and Functional Lead
Develops configuration documentation
Conducts unit testing on developed objects/configuration
Supports testing events
Supports data loading (Legacy Collections)
Supports demand planners and inventory planners by troubleshooting the VCP system and supporting the supply chain planning process as needed
Works with other support teams to resolve issues for planners

Required Experience: These are MUST HAVE items. If a candidate does not have these then they will be rejected.
At least 3 VCP projects with a focus on configuring either Demantra or ASCP; with at least one of those projects working hands-on with Demantra and one project hands-on with ASCP
Knowledge of IO (inventory optimization)
Ability to write SQL to query the database
Experience with Legacy collections
Experience working with supply chain planners
Good communications skills both oral and written

Preferred Experience: These are things that you would like to see, but are NOT required to fill the position. These are NOT disqualifying items.
Experience in Health Care Industry.
Experience with PeopleSoft ERP.
Experience in system architectures.

Required Education:
BS degree (Engineering or Computer Science concentration preferred) required
