About the VB6 Developer Role

No project, engagement or role at BJSS is the same; however, there are a core set of responsibilities which include:

•Project Delivery: the day to day responsibility for technical aspects of a project, both internally at BJSS and at client sites.
•Software Development: Construction and unit testing of software components to agreed time and quality constraints under the direction or a team lead.
•Quality Assurance: Understanding of system test plans and system testing. Eliciting and Documenting System Function and Non-Functional Requirements.

About You:

As a BJSS employee you can expect to feel challenged and gain exposure to a diverse range of projects. These range from: high availability trading systems, R&D mobile communications and proof of concept solutions to business critical infrastructure.
Our projects are challenging, frequently complex and more often than not high profile.

You will have:

• Visual BASIC 6
• SQL and SQL Server
• ADO
Optional, but beneficial experience:
• C# / VB.NET
• COM Interop
