VB.NET Developer

.NET Developer with 7-10 years experience developing applications in VB.NET for a 2 year contract in Oak Brook, IL. Individual will be allowed to work remotely, but must be local to the Oak Brook area because of required attendance at team meetings. Individual should have a solid understanding of .NET Framework, VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server. Individual will be involved in the development of new systems as well as maintenance/enhancement of an existing system. Individual should be experienced in all phases of development, including design, coding, implementing and testing. Experience in the Financial Services/Banking industry is a big plus. Individual will join a team currently developing loan management/financial reporting systems. Individual should have solid VB.NET coding experience, as well as, retrieving data from a SQL Server database. Experience working on government projects is a plus, but not required.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

.NET (3.0) Framework, VB.NET, MS SQL Server (2008), ASP.NET, Visual Studio, Telerik (Rad Controls), Tomcat Apache Server & AJAX.
