VAT (Indirect Tax) Analyst (CTA ACA/CIMA/ACCA) - West London - £370 per day

Core Responsibilities - Indirect Taxes

The job details are as follows:
Provide Indirect Tax compliance for specific VAT registrations for a legal entity with complex trading arrangements requiring VAT registrations in multiple overseas jurisdictions

Ensure the provision of accurate and compliant VAT reporting services to external authorities on behalf of the relevant internal legal entities
Preparation and Review of draft Indirect Tax and statistical returns on

o Sales, purchase and miscellaneous transaction review including invoice sampling;
o Resolution of exception items;
o Correction of errors found, including any consequent GL postings;
o Trend analysis;
o Clear and complete documentation of the above
o Month end process completion including Relevant Balance sheet account reconciliations
o Preparation and processing of tax payments

Co-ordination of indirect tax audits, liaising with the market and Global Tax to provide support in responding to queries and resolving tax disputes.
Ensuring Market specific document retention requirements relating to indirect taxes are met;
Manage escalations from customers, stakeholders and external authorities

This position is based in West London near to Heathrow airport and offers a daily rate up to £370 per day.
