VAT Advisor - Edinburgh - 3 Months

VAT ADVISER - EDINBURGH - 3 MONTHS

Our EDINBURGH based client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced VAT ADVISER for an INITIAL 3 MONTH CONTRACT.

The successful candidate will have the ability to consider a variety of interesting projects, apply the relevant VAT rules and regulations to determine the appropriate VAT treatment, liaising with and supporting there manager and senior management in discussions with HMRC as necessary.

You will work to the VAT Manager dealing with enquiries, considering contracts and putting forward ideas and solutions. In doing so they will have the ability to consider a variety of interesting projects, apply the relevant VAT rules and regulations to determine the appropriate VAT treatment, liaising with HMRC as necessary.

You will be:

- Experienced VAT specialist with a knowledge of VAT legislation and HMRC rules/regulations
- Ideally A knowledge of Central Government VAT and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
