VAS Marketing Expert

VAS Specialist with focus towards MBB - Mobile Broadband.

Our client - a Consulting Company is working with a large Operator to help them deliver mBB, having already worked through the high level strategy phase the project now needs a Consultant to join the Team to help them through implementation to the actual launch...so initially the Consultant will work on the detailed design of the VAS product product portfolio - specifically relating to mBB and in parallel new products compatible with the existing Legacy 2G infrastructure.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate experience of:

Product definition/product management - ability to design a profit model for a new product and back that up with well written business cases.

A solid understanding of IT, being able to interact/interface with the IT dept for product feasibility and business case preparation.

A clear understanding of product trends in relation to VAS (again focus toward mBB offerings).

Experience of attracting/procuring new partners and content providers.

This role will suit a VAS specialist with a minimum of 7 years experience, who has/can demonstrate relevant prior experience/expertise in a similar role and environment - (bearing in mind the push toward mBB). Ideally the candidate will have worked Internationally and will have a solid understanding of the MEast market. Solid communication skills and the ability to write quality documentation essential.

Although the initial contract duration is 6 months, there is a strong possibility that this may roll into a longer 9mth+ engagement.
