Validation Test Technician

VALIDATION TEST TECH - CHANDLER, AZ - 12 MONTH CONTRACT

Right now we're looking for a candidate to work on a validation team executing tests against a storage product targeted for the client market. The candidate will be using a Windows platform as the device under test and a Windows platform for debugging failures. The storage product will emulate server failure, recovery, and high traffic IO.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Setting up test benches for running tests to validate data storage products.
- Debugging hardware board issues.
- Repair of hardware issues.
- Writing up bug reports.
- Working with the engineering team to debug and reproduce issues.

REQUIRED: Ability to build and troubleshoot all aspects of hardware in a PC system from scratch.

PREFERRED:

- Knowledge of NFS, SAS/SATA basics
- Windows OS
- Skills for debugging setup issues
