Validation Test Technician

For this contract position with a world leading computer components company, the candidate will be working in a validation team executing tests against a storage application product targeted for the client market. The test environment may include a Windows platform, an Android platform, or a Mac platform as the devices under test.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Set up test benches for running tests to validate data storage application products.
- Debug setup issues.
- Execute tests.
- Write up bug reports.
- Work with the engineering team to debug and reproduce issues.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Knowledge of Windows 7/8 OS, Apple (iOS), and/or Android OS
- Skills for debugging setup issues
- Ability to build a server/PC system from scratch
- Knowledge of cloud storage setup and interfaces preferred
