Validation Technician - Simulation

Yoh has a contract position for a VALIDATION TECHNICIAN - SIMULATION to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validation Technician will be responsible for perform power integrity simulations and communicating the results.
- Validation Technician responsible for performing Automation, Stress, Load tests on different platforms.
- Engage with the Engineering teams in testing software updates, and test cases execution.
- Properly validate platforms (power deliver, signal integrity, functional validation, etc)
- Respond to all system problems, with emphasis on how to duplicate problem encountered during testing

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- MINIMUM TWO (2) PLUS YEARS EXPERIENCE OF CONDUCTING POWER AND/OR SIGNAL INTEGRITY SIMULATIONS
- Expertise in problem-solving, analysis, and on information/computer systems
- Excellent skills in troubleshooting software and hardware problems
- Hands on HW validation experience: working with engineering platforms, installing operating systems, soldering, oscilloscopes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- AS or BS Degree
- Experience with the installation, monitoring, testing and troubleshooting of an Android platform.
- Ideal candidate will have simulation with HSPICE and/or Sigrity.
