Validation Technician Job

VALIDATION TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Austin TX.

The Big Picture - Top Skills Should You Possess:
- Validation testing experience both hardware and software

What You'll Be Doing:
- Working in the Lab on measuring and optimizing power and performance on the latest platforms.
- Disassembling/Assembling netbooks & tablet systems
- Reworking fine pitch components and soldering fine pinch wiring for DAQs
- Setting up systems and reference systems with NI/Fluke DAQs
- Installing Win/Android OS and running benchmarks
- Summarizing, reporting, and tracking experiment results in Excel.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- You should possess an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of PC architecture
- Good fine pitch soldering skills
- Understanding of electrical circuits
- Experience working in a Lab environment testing hardware, installing OSs & drivers, and running benchmarks
- Experience with setting up NI HW & SW, is a plus
- Able to work in cross group and matrixed environment
