Validation Software Engineer (C++, Linux) Job

VALIDATION SOFTWARE ENGINEER (C++, LINUX) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Chandler, AZ

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Develop SOFTWARE AND NETWORKING KERNEL EXTENSIONS USING C++
- Other responsibilities include debugging and testing software, documenting software with comments, UML diagrams and flow charts, PORTING SOFTWARE WRITTEN FOR LINUX TO MAC OSX AND developing validation test cases for software written.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS degree in relevant field, such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- Three (3+) years relevant work experience in a software engineering role (software development, software QA, software validation, or software program management) required.
- FIVE (5+) YEARS OF PROGRAMMING OR VALIDATION EXPERIENCE WITH WINDOWS ENVIRONMENTS.
- Five (5+) years of Experience with XCODE & VISUAL STUDIO.
- Five (5+) years of Experience with at least one software version management system, SUCH AS GIT, SVN, CVS.
- Proficiency in C++ and Objective C required.
- Understanding of OBJECT ORIENTED DESIGN PRINCIPLES REQUIRED.
- Ability to work in a SCRUM environment required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- OSX and Linux Experience
- Windows development.
- Experience with RESTful interfaces, websockets, webRTC and other web protocols.
- Hands on experience validating software, using debugging tools, and resolving bugs.
- Experience with test automation, especially across different platform/OS combinations.
- Experience developing or validating software for consumer products.
- Self-motivated fast learner with strong analytical and communication skills.
