Validation/Reliability Engineer

Yoh has an excellent contract opportunity for a VALIDATION/RELIABILITY ENGINEER to join our client in Auburn Hills, MI.

Job Responsibilities:
- Embraces change management with enthusiasm and leadership.
- With the Project Manager one establishes new lab timing to meet project objectives.
- SPOC for project team Primary focus:
- (Test Lab Support) Lead data collection and input into appropriate tools
- Test request Test planning Test execution Test reporting Secondary focus:
- Quoting activity on new projects Support deployment activity
- Coordinate with other personnel or departments who will be affected by testing.
- Provide maintenance of records for later analysis.
- Attends program design reviews

Job Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering
- Three to ten (3-10) years of product Validation and Testing
- Worked in the field of product validation and testing for a minimum of three (3) years
- Knowledge of processes outside of product validation Strong technical and problem solving skills
- Prefer technical writing skills
- Ability to explain any breaks in work history
- Previous experience working in team environments and supporting teams.
- Self-starter and a leader of change. Lean thinking.
- Ability to compose final test reports and make adjustments to equipment that requires improvement.
- Process validation experience
- Ability to recommend and document improvements to validation testing, procedures and methods.
- Experience conducting Reliability, Environmental or EMC testing for automotive components
- Demonstrates knowledge of a technical or specialty area as well as knowledge of validation testing (types of tests conducted, equipment required, typical validation flows, etc).
- Effective communication, interpersonal, negotiation and project management skills
- Have the ability to multitask on projects without direct supervision.
- (Working on multiple projects concurrently or working on multiple aspects of the same project).
- Project management experience.
