Validation Modelling Analyst (AML)

We are looking for an  AML Validation Modelling Analyst in Toronto, ON

Requirements

Create detail design, work on development and perform code reviews, implement validation and support activities in line with architecture requirements, participate in detail requirement analysis and knowledge management activities with the objective of ensuring   the highest levels of service offerings to customers.  The individual is accountable to ensure the timely and accurate assessment, and approval of AML models used. The model tuning activities include but are not limited to reviewing model documentation; assessing key assumptions, including qualitative and expert judgment, logic and conceptual soundness; assessing the quality of the data used for model development as well as inputs to the model; replication; conduct of various tests; documentation of findings in a tuning report; confirming correct model implementation and determining the appropriateness of the use of model output.

Experience in:

- AML modelling
- business scenarios
- SAS BI and Oracle Mantas product
- Should have techno domain skills
- Financial industry experience is a must

Location: Toronto, ON

Duration: 4 months+

Start: 1-2 weeks

- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
- At least 8-9 years of experience in applications and products development, implementation and support
- At least 2-4 years of experience in design, development, testing in Oracle Mantas product
- At least  2-4 years of experience in in SAS BI and analytics
- Analytical and Communication skills
- Techno domain skills in Financial Compliance like AML. Fraud and Surveillance
