Validation Expert Air Traffic

For our client in the aviation industry we are currently looking for a Validation Tester

Duration: 2 years (+ extension)

Location: Maastricht (+ remote)

Our client is currently working on the creation of a uniform Air Traffic Management system. Due to these activities they are looking for a Validation tester.

Tasks:

- support the analysis of User Needs and their translation into high level User Requirements;
- support the writing of Operational Service and Environment Description (OSED)/Safety and
- Performance Requirements (SPRs), although specifically for TMF these topics are nowadays
- documented in a TMF Technical Note (TN);
- translation of the TMF TN requirements into Validation Objectives (VO);
- translation of VO into validation scripts and scenarios;
- set-up and maintenance of a global harmonised view of the operational requirements, VOs,
- mapping and tracing of VOs, operational requirements (from the TMF TN), etc. to relevant
- support/coordinate the preparation and coordination of the validation execution;
- support/coordinate to the validation execution activities;
- collect and analyse validation results;
- write validation reports, with substantiated recommendations relating to benefits to deploy;

The place to execute the activities is in Maastricht, however a combination of a remote working place and working on site at can be proposed under the conditions that:

The Contractor is available at in Maastricht at least 70 working days; the Contractor shall be flexible in allocating which period he/she will be available at Maastricht, which will be determined typically 3 to 4 weeks in advance of the travelling.

TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

Operational oriented ATC expertise.

Experience in managing the execution of large-scale validation projects and knowledge of simulation techniques.

Experience in documenting plans/analysis/requirements.

Knowledge of i4D and IOP Ground-Ground interoperability concepts through SESAR WP04 and/or WP05.

Experience with Advanced Air Traffic Control Systems and ATC simulators.
