Validation Engineer SoC

OUR CLIENT IS A SUPER HIGH-VISIBILITY COMPUTER COMPONENTS MANUFACTURER SEEKING A VALIDATION ENGINEER TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANALOG AND ELECTRICAL VALIDATION OF HIGH SPEED INTERFACES FOR SOC SILICON.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Developing Python based tools/scripts for control and automation
- Developing test content to stress various I/O interfaces
- Signal Integrity validation by using tools like digital oscilloscopes, BERT, etc.
- Analyzing and documenting test results
- Silicon and platform characterization

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must have BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 2+ years of experience in validation of at least one: USB3, HDMI, PCIe, DDR
- Basic understanding of computer system architecture
- Software and Scripting experience (eg Perl, Python)
- Experience with lab equipment such as digital oscilloscopes

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE):

- Experience with signal integrity design
- Experience with circuit design

Estimated length of assignment: 52 weeks with possibility of extension
