Validation Engineer - Fuel Systems

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a VALIDATION ENGINEER - FUEL SYSTEMS to join our client in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop DV, PV and DTC Validation Plans to meet customer and internal requirements.
- Provide validation cost/quotes and compliance Matrix for internal and customer validation plans and specifications
- Conduct tests according to the Design and Product Validation Plans
- Organize validation testing with internal and external labs and document log and file all results pertaining to product testing
- Setup and operate test equipment, work safe in an explosion proof environment
- Provide general assistance to all areas of Fuel Systems Engineering
- Present the validation results to management, Design/Product Team and to customer
- Learn to operate the special test equipment used in the fuel systems lab to test the fuel modules
- Support customer vehicle testing and test trips if requested

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- Worked as validation/test engineer for a minimum of three (3) years (Fuel module and Fuel Pump systems experience)
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Strong technical and problem solving skills
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to plan and execute many tasks in parallel
- High level of self-initiative
- Team Player
