Validation Engineer for Media Technologies

OUR CLIENT IS A SUPER HIGH-VISIBILITY COMPUTER MANUFACTURING COMPANY SEEKING A VALIDATION ENGINEER CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING MEDIA AND MEDIA-RELATED TECHNOLOGIES.

OVERVIEW

- Design, develop, and deliver multimedia features supporting remote wireless streaming stack, video conferencing features, browser technologies such as HTML5, etc. under Android/Linux system
- Integrate software stacks and the hardware platform and ensure enablement of all the uses cases
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve all software and platform related issues and ensure closure at the respective debug forums
- Execute business processes necessary to deliver the components for software releases

REQUIREMENTS

- Demonstrated product development experience
- Demonstrated software engineering practices such as design, documentation, prototype, code, and developer level testing
- Ability to analyze and break down problems
- Demonstrated ability to make significant contributions to architecture and design documents
- Demonstrated mastery of C/C++ and Linux based OS system level programming (Linux and/or Android)
- Demonstrated mastery of object-oriented software design
- Must have solid development experience on various Media formats, H.264/AVC, Media Frameworks such as StageFright and solid understanding of OpenMax IL standards
- Demonstrated working knowledge on streaming protocols such as RTP/RTSP/HTTP
- good team player, assertive, self-starter with a can-do attitude and good communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills

NICE TO HAVE

- Comfortable programming at the Middleware and device driver level and working on Android
- Video conferencing experience
