Validation Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a VALIDATION ENGINEER to join our client in Beaverton, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Validation Engineer will focus on developing GUI's and working with databases that interface to hardware.
- Validation Engineer will also write test software and develop test hardware for testing products.
- Validation Engineer will be responsible for developing, writing test plans and conducting test plan reviews.
- Validation Engineer will be part of a team effort to develop and sustain robust test solutions for board and system products.
- Sustain product tests to keep in step with product changes and requirements.
- Review schematics and specifications for hardware and software requirements.

Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in EE; CE or CS plus five (5) years of experience in industry.
- Five (5+) years of experience in the high-tech industry specifically related to testing of printed circuit board and system assemblies.
- Three (3+) years of experience working in a support role with direct customer and supplier contact (internal or external customers).
- C/C++ programming experience.
- TCL, Python, Perl or other Scripting language experience.
- Linux and Windows application and device driver programming experience.
- Practical experience in developing automated software, including software design, validation, coding and debug.
- Practical experience in developing hardware, including development, validation, and debug.

Preferred Job Skills/Experience/Knowledge:
- Wireless, networking, Intel architecture experience is a plus.
- Experience utilizing equipment to debug hardware, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, device programming and other bench top equipment.
