Validation Engineer

VALIDATION EXECUTION TECH NEEDED

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Test SmartPhone Firmware

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Execute defined test cases using a combination of manual and automated tests.
- Create new manual and automated tests to verify fixed defects or test assigned subsystems.
- Document results of testing.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5 years + BS in Comp Sci or EE.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions
- Technical understanding of complex environments
- Ability to understand/analyze and debug computer boot processes
- Linux user and admin level skills
- Ability to setup and maintain fully automated test environment
- Ability to read C, Python and Bash test code

NICE TO HAVE:

- Understanding of hardware/software interactions
- Ability to root cause failures of software test automation when environments change
- Python and/or C programming skills
- Android usage experience
- Schematic reading
