Validation Engineer

*OUR CLIENT IS A VERY HIGH-VISIBILITY COMPUTER COMPONENTS MANUFACTURER SEEKING A COMPONENT DESIGN ENGINEER FOR A CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY.*

Component Design Engineers are responsible for the design and development of electronic components.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

- Documentation of specifications
- Prototype construction and checkout
- Modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components
- Performing developmental and/or test work
- Reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have a BS, MS or PHD in EE or Computer Science or related fields
- Experience with RTL coding in Verilog and/or System Verilog and
- 5+ years of experience with verification coding methods using assertions
- OVM experience

PREFERRED:

- Experience with RTL coding in Verilog and/or System Verilog and UArch design
- 8+ years of experience with verification coding methods using assertions
- 2+ years of experience in USB and PCIE and system bus architectures
- VMM experience
