Validation Engineer

For this contract position with a world leading computer manufacturer, you will be working in a validation team developing test applications in Python and/or C/C++ under a Linux development environment. The test applications will test the memory controller of against a component specification for Server products

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop test application and/or scripts to run under a Linux environment
- Execute tests
- Verify functionality by capturing logic analyzer traces and debug test failures
- Write up bug reports and work with engineering team to root cause issues

REQUIREMENTS

- 7-10 years of related work experience
- Strong C programming and Scripting language skills
- Knowledge of Linux OS
- Expertise to debug in Linux environments
- Familiarity with basic trigger setup of logic analyzers
- Strong communication skills.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with DDR3 technology, PCIE bus protocol
