Validation and Verification Systems Engineer

We are currently recruiting Validation and Verification (V&V) System engineer to join our Aerospace client based in Switzerland for an initial 6-month contract.

Our client specializes in the design, development, and manufacture of product and subsystems solutions, including primary flight control units, flight test computers, mission computers and command and control processors.

POSITION SUMMARY

. System engineer is charge of establishing strategy and specification for the V&V activities on system, design and participates to the development as team member

. You will be charge of integration, testing validation and verification of the system.

. System engineer has cross-functional skill capabilities to communicate with other expertise team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

. Define V&V system strategy according customer requirement.

. Validation test bench specification and architecture

. Development of the test bench specification

. Establish traceability matrixes, coverage and verification matrixes

. Testing and integration (eg test application development)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

. Proven Background/experience in test bench for avionic system development

. Strong analytical ability

. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally, with customers and at all organization levels

. Ability to interact with multi-disciplined professionals to understand and make necessary tradeoffs and decisions

. Intermediate level of experience with MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint

. ARINC653 RTOS (VxWorks653 or PikeOS)

. Embedded Software

. Linux RTOS

. Use of debugging tools (software, JTAG probes, simulators, etc.)

. Configuration management (SVN, GIT, CVS, etc.)

. Script knowledge for test automation (python, bash, etc.)
