Job Title: UX Web Designer

5+ years of UX web design experience, web applications for online banking, mobile development an asset, wireframing, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

DESCRIPTION:
- Collaborate with development team to define UX requirements
- Create and maintain UI wireframes from concept to final hand-off to development team
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and address customer paint points
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and key stakeholders
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
- Responsible for designing and developing the online and mobile transactional sites within the banking industry
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of UX experience
- Demonstrable UX design skills with a strong portfolio
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wireframing tools
- Excellent user-system interaction with understanding of visual design
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Up-to-date with the latest UX trends, techniques and technologies
- Strong working knowledge of information architecture, task-flow models, wireframing, creating design specifications and guidelines
- Meticulous sense of detail and ability to seek out simple solutions to complex design challenges
- An ability to work through multiple priorities
- Evaluate existing sites in terms of their usability, visual design, content, and branding
- Identify and document meaningful patterns from the user research and provide recommendations based on established guidelines, best practices, customer needs, opportunities and/or pain points.
- 3+ years of banking industry experience
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously
- Degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Interface Design, Interaction Design or equivalent experience
