My client is looking for an experienced User Experience visual designer to contribute to a team of UX professionals responsible for designing new mobile, desktop and dedicated hardware endpoint collaboration experiences.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of designers and researchers who collaborate closely with each other and with engineering and product owners to create innovative, elegant, usable and useful collaboration experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Help establish a clear, user-centric design vision and direction across mobile, desktop, web and dedicated endpoints.
* Provide mockups, design specs, and visual assets to the engineering and product management teams
* Partner closely with product management team to rapidly iterate on designs based on user feedback, tech constraints, and market dynamics.
Experience Required:
* 4+ years experience designing user experiences for consumers and/or businesses, where simplicity and elegance solves complex user problems.
* Degree in HCI, human factors, information or industrial design or relevant industry experience.
* Excellent visual and interaction design skills with an outstanding portfolio of successful projects at leading companies.
* Experience working in highly agile scrum teams employing continuous integration and deployment techniques.
* Good understanding of how design, prototyping and user research meet complex and varied requirements within tight development windows.
* Expertise in native and Web/HTML5 application design and development across all relevant form factors - smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop, etc.
* Technical understanding of Front End Web application technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, etc.
* Experience working in global organizations with global product development.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, defend a position, and advocate for designs.
