UX Research Assistant (User Experience)

For a 6 month project with our IT client in Zurich, we are looking ASAP for a UX Research Assistant.

Design and conduct different types of research studies, including lab-based usability studies, field studies, and surveys. Collaborate with product teams to define and prioritize research questions. Ensure effective communication of research findings, including synthesizing them into workable design principles. Drive product improvements based on research findings.

Requirements
. BA/BS or MS degree preferred (PhD a plus) in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Experimental Psychology, Anthropology, Information Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
. Excellent analytical ability, especially with regard to observation of user behaviour.
. Strong oral and written communication skills; can present findings concisely and effectively.
. Experience with the following is a plus; web technology and standards, business applications, online ads, retail.
. Strong experience in conducting user research studies is a definite advantage.
