UX DESIGNER (TRADER WORKFLOW)

UX Designer (Trader Workflow) is urgently required for an exciting trader's pricing software design and development project. The software will enable traders to price trades faster and more accurately and will initially be rolled out to a small group before being scaled up and deployed to the entire team in Amsterdam and from there, possibly, internationally. The UX Designer (Trader Workflow) will work very closely with the trading team in order to define the User Experience through the workflow of the trade and will then collaborate with the Front End/UI developer to design and develop the Front End/UI of the software which will enable the trader to collate vast volumes of hugely complex data into simple, coherent graphical visualisations that will enable shrewder business decisions.

The UX Designer must possess at least 65% of the following skills and experience:

- Minimal Bachelor Degree in visual design (HBO);
- Good social and communication skills;
- 3 years of User Experience Front End development expertise;
- Experience with Design software;
- Very specific knowledge and expertise in following areas: visual design for digital design and browser based technology like CSS, HTML and JavaScript as well;
- In depth knowledge of and experience with standards and principles in the current digital landscape, like accessibility, security, biometric, etc;
- Experience in SCRUM/Agile and test driven development;
- English speaking and writing skills;
- An entrepreneurial spirit;
- The UX designer must be able to balance creative aesthetics with functional representation and utility.
- Senior experience as a UX designer within financial services, ideally investment banking and will have intimate knowledge of the workflow of a trade.
