UX Designer/Developer Job

UX DESIGNER/DEVELOPER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client to work remote, for our client in Los Angeles, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Test and improve usability of UX
- Create designs and prototypes of HTML5 web applications
- Deliver quality work in a fast paced demanding environment
- Coordinate and manage UX issues during product development process
- Participate in usability testing and other qualitative/quantitative research studies
- Work collaboratively with various teams such as product managers, engineers, and fellow UX designers
- Translate requirements into wireframes and prototypes
- Create graphic assets quickly and with quality
- Translate UX design into multiple formats (mobile, tablet, web)

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Solid understanding between design and usability
- 5+ years experience in UX design field
- UI design experience for web applications
- Understanding of web portals
- Mobile applications design experience a plus
- HTML5 and CSS design and layout
- Healthcare product design is a plus BS or higher in Human Computer Interaction, Interaction Design and Visual Communication Design, or related area such as information design, and industrial design.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English
- Communication management between UX, Product Management, Product Development, and other related parties.
- Must submit online or portfolio with relevant UI designs
- Portfolio must demonstrate applicant's creative experience in UI design
- Portfolio should detail descriptive role of applicant for each project

- Strong time management skills with many projects and schedules
- Highly motivated in web applications design
