UX Designer/Consultant - Edinburgh Based

My financial services client in Edinburgh is looking for several UX Consultants to work as part of the Solution Design team.

The UX Consultant will be central to the creation and development of customer centred experiences required to realise the strategic objectives or mandatory obligations.

Potential candidates should be able to demonstrate experience/evidence of:

- Having significant experience in User Centred Design processes (including testing and research), with proven scenario development skills and interaction design skills
- Having an eye for visual interactive details, excellent creative and verbal skills, and an ability to think creatively and laterally
- Proficiency in a range interactive design and visualisation tools eg Axure, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Designing for mobile and touch devices
- Practical understanding of responsive and adaptive design
- Applying customer led design methodologies and tools within a common UX/design framework and practice
- Analysing insights from multiple sources to understand and empathise with customers and colleagues needs in order to craft effective and innovative customer/user journeys
- Working with Agile project teams and key stakeholders to develop and deliver user centred solutions within project timeframes and objectives
- Collaborating with project teams and colleagues to identify issues, shape user journeys and identify options for delivering appropriate solutions for customers
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organisation
