UX DESIGNER - AJAX - HTML - CSS - JAVASCRIPT - BANKING

Working for a global leading tier 1 financial institution, you will be working on multi-million pound enterprise projects. The User Experience Designer will be responsible for the crafting of visual assets for web-based, hand-held, and desktop applications.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Strong Interaction Design Skills Strong Visual Design & Communication Skills Experience with Web application or Software design (AJAX/FLEX technologies) Good writing skills Financial Services industry experience a plus

The ideal candidate:

- Manages client expectations and own time efficiently
- Has excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills
- Understands and has opinions about current industry best practices
- Balances an academic interest in best practices with tactical solutions
- Is fascinated with how the visual design of information systems impacts use and understanding

The UX User Experience Designer will be able to:
- Work collaboratively in cross-disciplinary design teams
- Work closely with designers to craft and maintain various graphic assets & style guides
- Index and catalogue assets and prepare detailed specification documents for development teams
- Work closely with developers in ensuring guidelines are adhered to
- Follow iterative user-centred design processes
