UX DESIGNER - £450 PER DAY - NORTH EAST - 3 MONTH PROJECT

I have a contract position on for a UX Designer to work for a major consultancy in the North East. The UX Designer must have good understanding of complex service ecosystems whilst working for a large blue chip organisation. The UX Designer will need to apply UCD best practices. The UX Designer will also be required to provide consultative level leadership whilst developing close working relations with key business stakeholders. The UX Designer should be a strong team player and have a deep understanding of information visualisation, whilst liaising with UI Development team on site.

SKILLS:

- The UX Designer must have experience with and a strong understanding of UCD best practices
- Experience working with clients to research and UX strategy and creating information architectures
- Contributing to UX/UCD projects
- Agile or other iterative approach
- Pulling together usability audits, competitor analyses, and customer research
- Planning and facilitating user testing; interpreting the results and making recommendations
- Data visualisation
- Graphic information systems and information design.
