UX Designer

We're looking for a User Experience Designer in Amsterdam.

This is a freelance position for minimal 6 months with the possibility to extend.

Project description:

You inspire and collaborate with cross-functional teams. You take responsibility for your product and its experience and care for it from beginning (strategy and concept) to end (design and implementation). Through qualitative and quantitative research you try to truly understand the customer, its background and needs. You articulate design rationale to support your decisions and vision, and ensure stakeholder satisfaction by balancing needs and business goals.

The ideal candidate has the following skills:

- Bachelor/Master degree
- +4 years experience as a UX Designer
- Own all aspects of design: comfortable from concept to interaction to copy to visual, but you excel in one area
- Design for all sizes with an important focus on small screens (mobile)
- Inspire and collaborate with people to create the best work we can
- Communicate ideas, vision and arguments clearly
- Quickly switch between long term vision and short term tactical steps
- Know design tools such as Sketch or Illustrator by heart
