UX Designer

UX DESIGNER

A UX Designer is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative position within a leading Financial Services client based in Amsterdam.

The UX Designer will be responsible for creating payment applications and websites which people love to use. The UX Designer will translate user stories and ideas into concepts. This process is customer-centered and will be supported by customer research and testing to make sure the quality is high. The UX Designer will report to the Head of UX & Design.

The UX Designer will:

- Apply service design techniques to recognize and understand customer's needs
- Have up to date knowledge about interface and interaction design to create websites and applications
- Have adequate knowledge about front- and Back End development to make realistic and state-of-art interaction designs
- Create prototypes
- Setup and execute a usability lab to test user flows (qualitative)
- Research customer behavior and wishes (quantitative)
- Optimise customer processes in app and web

The UX Designer will IDEALLY HAVE 65%+ of the following skills and experience:

- Bachelor degree or higher
- Strong experience of web and app interaction design
- Problem solving and creative thinking
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Flexible and ready for changes
- Detail oriented
- High standard of discretion and integrity
- Full-time availability (40 hours per week)
- Team player
- Fluency in written and spoken English essential, Dutch would be a plus
