UX Designer

We have a short term opportunity with one of the leading organisations in Perth for a UX/User Experience designer to join their existing team. You will be working on the digital and online systems.

YOUR ROLE

- You will work on Interfaces - websites and mobile applications like iOS and Android.
- Manage the end to end customer interaction of the website and the user experience once they land on the website
- Ensure natural flow to different pages for the best experience and manage the design background
- Help to translate business objectives into manageable user experience design outcomes.
- Help plan and execute user experience design projects against specific business and user experience objectives.
- Design information architecture and interaction design internally.
- Ensure user experience consistency across the business units where appropriate.
- Work directly with the broader User Experience team to formalise consistent operational processes and documentation

Collaboratively design conceptual UI models and interaction flows

REQUIRED SKILLS

- You should be very creative and have new ideas which you can come up with or have implemented in your current and previous roles
- Extensive experience in User Experience related to high-tech products and services, including interaction design, visual design and deep knowledge of recognized usability standards and guidelines
- Demonstrated knowledge of user experience design principles and interaction design skills
- Solid understanding of the application of user research and testing to inform and validate design
- You must have the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines in an agile working environment

DESIRABLE

- Visual design skills a plus
- Experience conducting user testing highly desired
- Understand capabilities and limitations of HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML is a plus
