UX Designer

UX DESIGNER

LADBROKES are looking to recruit a UX DESIGNER on an initial 3-month contract to develop all customer journey and user experience requirements for all active projects and strategic developments, working alongside the format management team. Define and map out all best practices for existing solutions and services. Design and maintain all existing usage scenarios, prototypes, navigation and site maps along with other design documents aligned to strategic requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain the User Experience inventory including technology and facilities across all channels and customer interaction points.
o Site Audit (usability study of existing assets)
o Flows and Navigation Maps o User stories and/or Scenarios
o Site Maps and Content Inventory o Wireframes (blueprints or storyboards)
o Prototypes (For interactive or in-the-mind simulation)
o Written specifications (describing the behavior or design)
o Graphic mockups (Precise visual of the expected end result)

* Implement all defined requirements into full customer and business specifications support with required flows, this will inspire the development of the right product and formats.
* Identify efficiency's within the user journey and influence strategic design and specification of all existing/new formats across channels.
* Review available research to support the Head of Format and Product channel to translate into business goals into the best customer interactive solutions for the group business.
* Develop Maintain design mockups, usage scenarios, prototypes, Specifications, navigation maps and other design documents.
* Work with UX Lead and Head of UX to make sure that the workflow reflects the customer's needs and ensure consistency among features.
* Advise and work with the Information Architect UX team to execute the conceptual designs ensuring that the workflow reflects the customer's needs and ensure consistency.
* Define innovative user interfaces and interaction styles which result in improved user productivity.

EXPERIENCE:

* Previous successful design experience including mobile and tablet (IOS and Android)
* The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and keeping up to date on the latest technology trends.
* Experience with site mapping, interaction flows/maps, wireframing, and usability testing preferred.
* Excellent working knowledge of full Adobe Creative Suite and wire frame solutions such as Axure and Omnigraffle.
* Demonstrate good ability to deliver CSS, HTML, XHTML and Flash (AS 3.0) required with JavaScript a plus.
* Understanding of end to end web accessibility best practices and relevant W3C standards
* Knowledge and experience developing cohesive brand experiences.
* Experience with focus group research and usability testing desired.
